Patrick Collison is an Irish-born entrepreneur most famously known for being a co-founder and CEO of Stripe. He started Stripe with his younger brother, John, in 2010 after experiencing how difficult it was to setup an online business. Prior to Stripe, Patrick co-founded Auctomatic, which was acquired by Live Current Media for $5 million in March 2008. Patrick has stated that Stripe's mission is to "Increase the GDP of the internet".
