Brian Chesky

Brian Chesky is an American businessman, and industrial designer. He is the co-founder and CEO of the peer to peer lodging service Airbnb, and he was named one of Time's "100 Most Influential People of 2015". In 2007, facing a need for extra cash, Chesky and his roommates came up with the idea to rent out part of their apartment. This initial endeavor laid the groundwork for what would later evolve into Airbnb, transforming the concept into a global accommodation-sharing platform.
